Tusomese is built to elevate education in Uganda by connecting students, teachers, and schools. To keep our platform helpful, safe, and professional, we ask all members to follow these core guidelines.

Resource Uploading

When uploading study notes or past papers, quality and accuracy are critical. Ensure your materials genuinely help students prepare.

  • Use Clear, Legible FilesUpload high-quality PDFs. Do not upload blurry photos of handwritten notes or incomplete documents.
  • Categorize AccuratelyAlways select the correct Education Level, Class/Year, and Subject so students can find what they need.
  • Respect Copyright & OwnershipOnly upload materials you have created or have the right to share. Do not upload premium copyrighted textbooks.

Job Board Standards

The job board is a professional space for schools to hire talent and for teachers to advance their careers.

For Schools

  • • Post clear, descriptive job titles.
  • • Include actual requirements and expected qualifications.
  • • Close or remove postings once the position is filled.
  • • Do not post fake vacancies or "ghost jobs."

For Teachers

  • • Ensure your profile qualifications are accurate.
  • • Write customized, professional cover letters.
  • • Do not spam applications for subjects you are not qualified to teach.

Community Interaction

Our community feed is a place for academic discussion, asking for help, and sharing educational insights.

  • Be Respectful and ConstructiveTreat fellow students, teachers, and admins with respect. Harassment, bullying, or hate speech will result in an immediate ban.
  • No Spam or Unrelated PromotionsDo not use the feed to sell unrelated products, post misleading links, or repeatedly spam the same question.
  • Maintain Academic IntegrityDo not use the platform to facilitate cheating, plagiarism, or selling completed coursework.

Enforcement & Reporting

The Tusomese admin team actively monitors the platform. Violating these guidelines may result in content removal, restricted access, or permanent account deletion.
